Jonathan T. Sarre is a Portland-based attorney specializing in the defense of Measure 11 and other serious or complex criminal cases in all Oregon courts. Mr. Sarre graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland in 2003 and passed the Oregon State Bar the same year. He immediately developed a vibrant criminal defense trial practice.
Mr. Sarre joined the firm in 2014 after 11 years in practice. Mr. Sarre regularly appears in county courthouses throughout the state and is familiar with all facets of criminal law from traffic offenses to Measure 11 “mandatory minimum sentence” crimes. He has successfully argued that a Ballot Measure 11 sentence was unconstitutional as applied in a particular case.
Mr. Sarre has taken care of hundreds of cases for clients throughout the state of Oregon. He is an accomplished trial attorney, having handled countless jury trials in Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington, Marion, Clatsop and Tillamook Counties. Mr. Sarre has also successfully negotiated favorable settlements throughout Oregon in cases with charges as diverse as DUII, conspiracy, drug-distribution, sex crimes and murder. One thing he never forgets though is every client is unique and what matters at the end of the day is that his clients are fully satisfied with the results he gets them.
